Craving Change™ Workshop

Are you struggling with your relationship with food? Do you often reach for that piece of chocolate, despite there being healthier options available to you? Do you want to change your eating habits but don’t know where to start?

The Craving Change™ workshop focuses on why you eat the way you do and not on what you eat. This program identifies personal triggers for problematic eating and teaches you strategies to change those behaviours.

This workshop designed for individuals who deal with emotional eating and struggle to maintain healthy eating habits and is ideal for weight loss, chronic disease management or for those simply seeking a healthier relationship with food. 

The workshop will help you:

  • understand why you eat the way you do,
  • comfort yourself without food, and 
  • change your thinking and eating habits, and
  • maintain these changes.

Beginning Jan. 17, this five-week workshop meets for one hour each Tuesday and is facilitated by a registered dietician, Cathy Langdon, in a shame-free and inclusive environment.

DATES: Tuesdays from Jan. 17 to Feb. 14, 2017
TIME: Noon-1pm (bring your own lunch) 
LOCATION: Place Riel Student Centre, Room 323 (third floor of Place Riel)
COST: $30* (includes workbook)
