Mindfulness, Stress, and Resilience Workshop - May 17, 2016

Wellness Resources—in partnership with Mindfulness Meditation Trainer Jeanne Corrigal—presents a half-day workshop in the practice of mindful meditation on May 17 from 9 am – 12 pm at the Diefenbaker Canada Centre.

Mindfulness meditation can improve your quality of life by decreasing stress, improving your attention span and promoting overall wellbeing. Focusing on the present moment by bringing awareness to your thoughts, emotions and sensations can help you become more resilient to stress and challenges in work as well as your personal life.

Throughout the workshop, you will:

  • Learn about the benefits of mindfulness.
  • Participate in short practice sessions.
  • Learn about mindfulness tools that you can put to use immediately.

The fee for the workshop is $50* and is open to all U of S faculty and staff.
